CvS is definitely easier to do than SF3, but I always loved the look of SF3 and how the palettes looked. But I'm gonna save this just in case I might want to try CvS. Though I do have a tutorial somewhere, but the more reference and guides on hand the better.

Thanks for these! I'm using them to make Akira palettes.

 DEPENDS BECAUSE THERE MORE TONES IN SF3 AND BIGER (MORE EASIER TO MAKE EXPRESSIONS AND DETAILS) THAN CVS

BUT I RESPECT YOUR OPINION

SFIII is more complicated than CvS in terms of color, shading and detail. CvS is more streamlined and limited in it's color usage and shading is kept simple. Though you can take CvS further and make it more complex if you choose while still remaining within the style.

Yes, it is my opinion, but also an observation from working with both sprites and art in general. There was no need to laugh at my personal views. Also try to not type all in caps as it makes it look like you are yelling. People will take you more seriously if you type normally and not in all caps.

Don't take this to mean I'm upset or anything, far from it. I'm just trying to make a point is all.

thanks so much for showing this , i tried these pallets, though not great and offical, i got this result
Image

i know its not good, but im practicing my spriting alittle bit

im going through alot this year so ive been very slow on all my work...
this is thing i needed to understand and learn, the way the pallets look and how the light source flow,
its been my problem(since m lightsourcing suks in drawing wise) but i fel if i practice this il be better understangding this style then maybe ill be able to do even kof XII style color...

!IE thanks so much showing this up here i wanted t see a thread of somthing like this for a while....

ps: made this in graphicsgale useing the color replacement tool for the shades and colored lineart, i fond it very useful
